Love is universal, but its celebration has cultural twists. In the Philippines, we jokingly call Feb-ibig when the second month of the year comes…Like many other countries, we celebrate Valentine’s Day in February so we call it Feb-ibig (love month!).

Watch my interviews at the different radio stations of Bombo Radyo Philippines to learn how the Japanese celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Glad to share how Japan celebrates the Valentine season through my reports on Bombo Radyo Dagupan, Bombo Radyo Gensan, and Bombo Radyo Cauayan.  It’s great to know this unique Japanese culture and how it’s intertwined with commerce.

On Monday, February 5, the residents in the Kanto area of Japan, specifically Tokyo, experienced heavy snowfall.  Behind the beautiful fluffy snow, unknowingly, there were hundreds of human accidents & thousands of car collisions plus stranded passengers in airports and various transport systems.  What a tragic start to the new month, but the locals and internationals in Japan will keep the spirit of “chocolate gift-giving” until White Day on March 14.  Watch my reports on the Philippines’ No. 1 and Most Trusted Radio Station: Bombo Radyo Philippines.   Basta Radyo, Bombo!
